Libby Doyle

As the co-founder of Quivertree Publications, Libby performs the role of publisher and creative director. Having always been design-minded, she studied at the Michaelis School of Art and Architecture at the University of Cape Town, before moving on to study Basic Design in Black and White and Print Techniques in Boston, USA. Having worked in advertising and publishing for almost two decades, both in New York and at home in South Africa, she is well-versed in the importance of evocative and relevant design. Together with partner Craig Fraser, Libby has conceptualised, designed and released many award-winning titles, fulfilling her desire to create books that inspire by showcasing aspects of South African culture that might not otherwise find expression.
