Julie Gallagher is the girl behind South Africa’s much-loved party store In Good Company. A collection of stores known for their “goodies” that turn ordinary spaces into magazine-worthy party places – the wow factor guaranteed. Julie started her career out as a Chartered Accountant, but her passion for parties and strong creative streak soon made way for her dream job – and shop. “I love entertaining, but my friends are right when they say it is the planning and sourcing that I enjoy more than the actual party.”

In addition to producing daily party inspiration for In Good Company’s Blog, Julie “moonlights” as a prop stylist, set decorator and workshop guest speaker for her international suppliers and press publications. Julie writes a regular column on DIY design and style for Wedding Inspirations Magazine. Julie is married to Liam and mom to two little girls, Zara and Bailey and juggles their lifestyle with the daily running of her Swiss shop, In Good Company Switzerland (slowly transforming the way the Swiss entertain, one party at a time!) With a love of entertaining and a passion for parties, you can bet there’s always some sort of party planning going on in Julie’s house.
